The Top Ten Most Expensive Millionaire Celebrity Homes by Kate Johns

You would think writing about the top ten millionaire homes would be easy. Guess again! There are so many celebrities and wealthy people that looking for the MOST expensive celebrity home is like looking for a female celebrity that did not sleep with Leonardo Di Caprio. And if you know his dating history, he is something of a HO. Okay, that's another article, for another time. Without further ado here are the top ten millionaire celebrity homes: written by Kate Johns

1. Oprah Winfrey owns a 55 million dollar sprawling estate. Large is not a word heard at Oprah's digs, more likely, no one can hear Oprah talk in her own home. Mansionesque is the word said here.
Oprah's Montecito, California estate has 14 bathrooms and 10 fireplaces.

2. Next on the list is another California home, owned by the original Playboy, Hugh Hefner. The Playboy mansion was originally bought by Hugh in 1971 for a mere 1.2 million, and has seen more gorgeous naked women than even Leonardo has been with. Today, Hugh's place is estimated to be worth a cool 50 million.

3. Singer, songwriter, drunk driver, Billy Joel's house cost a mere 35 million, and boasts its own private island in the Hamptons. It has a paltry 7 bedrooms and Christie did the right thing by moving out!

4. Christie Brinkley became a major millionaire by showing off her super model curves. Christie's home in Long Island is worth an estimated 30 million dollars, and was recently up for sale. Of course she has a runway for practice walks, and an artist's studio, allowing for maximum creativity.

5. Jerry Seinfeld bought his Hampton mansion from one of Christie Brinkley ex's, Billy Joel for slightly over, 32 million. If only walls could talk! This must have been the home that Joel and shared with his Uptown girl--- Christie Brinkley.

6. Aaron Spelling's home is gigantic and has separate wings that make it look like the Pentagon from the air. Aaron Spelling tore down Bing Crosby's house and build this new huge home,so that Candy Spelling, can have an entire wing to herself. (Oh to be rich!) Aaron's digs have 123 rooms, and a bowling alley.

7. Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's California home was bought for the low price of only 12 million several years ago when times were better. We weren't in a recession then, and the Governator, was a leading man in Terminator flicks.

8. Radio host, American Idol host, and ten other jobs, Ryan Seacrest recently bought a home in California for a paltry 12 million. Seacrest bought the mansion from actor Kevin Costner, who perhaps was looking for a field of dreams to live in. This mansion is over 10,000 square feet has five bedrooms, and a media room.

9.We can't forget Jennifer Lopez while mentioning the most expensive celebrity homes. J. Lo is one of the richest women in entertainment. Together with singer Marc Anthony they owned a home with over 12,000 square feet, with 7 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.

10 There are many more seriously expensive celebrity homes with Eddie Murphy and Will Smith owning homes both worth about 20 million. Murphy lives in the 90210 zip code, and Smith lives nearby in a Calabases Castle.

Many millionaire celebrities own mansions filled with expensive furniture, 24 hour room service, and staff waiting on every whim. For some of the celebrities, the homes I mentioned are just one of many, while they own another home to get away from it all.
