Give me a break!! Who cares, and so what? Does Kate Middleton's nakedness make any difference in our lives?
The big brouhaha, is that Kate Middleton was photographed from a distance by unseemly paparazzi that got a couple of shots of Kate lying topless outside. She was obviously trying to get suntanned. She was as sources say at "a private house."

If Kate Middleton didn't want her breasts shown in public, then HELLO, why was she lying out topless---anywhere?

ROYALS KNOW THEY ARE HOT STUFF!

Let me explain my statement, before you start arguing:

The Royals, live under a microscope. They must know this when they have photographers following them everywhere they go. Now, someone who marries into the Royal Family would probably not be a shy person. This means that she or he, would be the kind of person who loves getting attention. She or he will probably enjoy living in the limelight. Britain's Royals are under continual scrutiny, and they are continually watched.They have to know, (unless they are dimwits), that they are living life in a fishbowl. So that goes to say that Prince Harry who was photographed completely naked, having his pics sold to TMZ, for $10,000, that this will happen to all of the young good looking Royals at one time or another.
So, Kate Middleton is lying out tanning topless at a private house, with her husband in attendance.
Whoopee!! And who cares? This is France, where topless tanning, and topless beach going is what is normally done in France. Many nations of the world are more than okay with topless, or naked  OUTSIDE tanning and beach going.

GETS MORE ATTENTION

Why is this such a scandal that a Royal was photographed topless anywhere?
It's old hat! Sarah Ferguson was photographed in the 1990's topless with a man, who was not her husband . They made a huge scandal out of that. Is this such a scandalous thing to have happen in 2012?
Besides, when a person marries a Royal do people really think a person like Kate Middleton is marrying him because she is so sweet, and nice, and shy? NOT! She is marrying Prince William because she wants to be in the public limelight. And sorry to say, but she is the one lying out topless at a so called private house. She can't be that shy, if she is going outside topless!
This means,  Kate Middleton  craves attention. She is young. She is pretty. She has a nice body. She is using what she has to gain attention. She is upping Prince Harry's body attention getting scandal and giving yet more press, (bad and good ), to the Royals. This increases their net worth, by having more people taking pics of any Royal they can. People will travel to London to see the Royals. Ultimately it is good for tourism.
Does anyone really mind, thus cancelling their afternoon tea with Kate and her Prince husband?

Clint Eastwood tells off President Obama

82 year old Clint Eastwood took to the stage of the RNC, to make a fool of himself. And thank God for Mr. Eastwood!
While the 82 year old actor, producer, writer and husband extraordinaire made some very valid points, he also made many Republicans feel embarrassed that they are Republicans.

It was sad, scary and embarrassing seeing an eighty two year old Academy award winning actor standing on stage completely 'winging it' in front of millions of people.
You see, in case you missed the actual moment, or you missed the overtly negative media doing what they do----not saying anything positive about Mitt Romney, Clint Eastwood talked to President Obama on stage by talking to an empty chair. He addressed the empty chair by saying things such as , "No, I don't think that Mitt Romney can do that to himself, Sir."

While, as a Republican, (I'm not afraid to admit it), I saw the hilarity in what Clint Eastwood was saying. I understood what this brilliant actor was doing. He was making a point without telling President Obama off. After all, no one in America is supposed to stand for anything anymore. We are not allowed to speak our minds anymore. And we are not allowed to say anything that will be disagreed with. So, I could see what Clint Eastwood was trying to do. But I knew other people would not get it.
Clint is an old guy now, who is not senile, but is this side of artistic, who knew exactly what he was doing! He was making jokes, and poking fun at the president. He even managed to get in a few about vice president Biden. In this age of political correctness, we are not allowed to say anything politically incorrect. Clint is an award winning A-list actor, who is obviously very artistic. Many artistic people will seem strange to non-artistic people. While it became clear that Clint needed to stop talking crazy talk to a chair, he also got his points out. He also drew the  overtly serious attention away from Mitt Romney, and he did something else. Clint made a fool out of himself, but he also made a joke out of what he was doing.
If indeed he is senile, then let it be, because the man is a millionaire, an award winning actor/producer many times over, and he is still working in the film industry today.

Recently while perusing articles online, I saw a survey of what celebrities people would like to live next to. Guess who came in on the top ten; why Jennifer Aniston and her current boyfriend, that's who. written by author Kate Johns, who started writing professionally creating greeting card sayings in 2004.
That's when I started thinking of what celebrities I wouldn't want to live next to.  That got me to thinking of what celebrities I wouldn't want my family being neighbors of,and I'm certain the celebrities you wouldn't want to be neighbors of either.
Here's the top ten list of celebrities you and I don't want to live next to:
1. Lady Gaga---- After hearing that her 40-year-old personal assistant is suing her for 3,000 hours of overtime, Gaga sounds like a selfish pain in the butt. Even though, she wouldn't be home much, you wouldn't want her knocking on your front door, when the Cd's stop selling, and she's a drugged out, sobbing, massive mess!
2. Madonna--Even though my husband and I will never have to worry about amassing 350 million dollars in a personal fortune, I still have to say it----Never, ever do I want to live next to Madonna. She let her oldest brother live under a bridge! Madonna also employed her one brother, and bickered with him about payments owed.
3. Kathy Lee Gifford--- The For Sale sign would go on the front lawn as soon as Frank or Kathy Lee stumbled out of an expensive vehicle. Is hate too strong a word? I despised seeing Kathy Lee on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. The story became really old, really fast when all she talked about was Cody this and Cody that. No wonder Frank had an affair!!
4 Katy Perry---She sold out for money. Katy Perry was a Christian rocker, and when that didn't make her a millionaire, she switched to pop star. Besides, her  gross ex-hubby, Russell Brand is a greasy, display of disgustingness.Thank God, they didn't have kids!

7. Miley Cyrus---Being Miley Cyrus's nearest neighbor would not work out for us. My husband can't sleep with any light entering the bedroom. Therefore with all those paparazzi lights, and prying cameras taking pictures of Miley Cyrus at all hours of the day and night----I just know it would never work out.being our next door neighbor.
8. Mariah Carey----living next door to Mariah Carey would not work for my family. Mariah's world centers around Mariah. When you think about it, maybe if you are male you w

Mariah Carey has been officially added as the newest judge to season 12, the year of 2013's judge lineup.

When American Idol added Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez to the judge panel two years ago, I thought they were just looking for the shock factor to raise sagging ratings. Well now, I am literally begging for Simon Cowel and Paula Abdul to be placed back in the A. I. judges seats.
Mariah Carey can sing---that's no doubt. But she is a DIVA through and through. I can't see her lasting more than one season!!
I can however see ten lackeys added to American Idol's workforce to do all of Mrs. Cannon's bidding.Let's face it people, Mariah has become a major pain in the butt!! She is a diva who wants it all her way.

REALLY---Mariah Carey?

They must be paying out major millions for Mariah to sit for hours on end, working for several hours a day, essentially saying, "That was great Sweetie."
Obviously American Idol is going for the throat, trying to pump up the ratings. Last season was rather ho-hum, okay boring. A. I.'s ratings went down to reflect this.
With Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler both leaving A.I. a major star had to be put on the judge's panel. With Mariah a member of Randy's stable of singers, that he produces, well who else would they get?
Perhaps more men will tune in to take a look at Mariah's large breasts, and long curvy legs. Maybe that is exactly what A. I. is looking for- to get more men tuning in to the show, instead of teenage girls looking for a new young male singer to adore!
Little did I know American Idol would top themselves in the race for ratings by forcing people to watch anything else on TV, because they brought the attention getting Ho, Nicky Minaj on for the 2013 season too!

Don't bother watching Tom Cruise's Rock of Ages movie, by Kate Johns

Did anyone happen to catch the new Tom Cruise movie, Rock of Ages while it is still in movie theaters? Critics are calling it Flop of Ages, because it is so bad. In it's debut night, Rock only raked in 5.3 million dollars, not enough to cover Cruise's salary.

I did not slam down my hard earned money to go to see Rock of Ages in a theater, nor will I,  choosing instead to wait till it reaches DVD. Which should be very shortly! From what I saw of the nine million plus ads that started about a year before its release Rock of Ages looks horrible. It looks like a rip off of just about every other rock and roll movie ever made, except for the good ones, like the comedy--"Spinal Tap."

Besides the fact that I went to about 200 concerts in the 1980's , and do not really want to see a fake imitator doing his worst to rip off what I loved back in the 1980's. Do we really need yet another 1980's music quest? Can't we kick it up a notch making movies about more recent music for people that can afford to plunk down mom and dad's money on musical movies and concerts? I'm talking teens, and tweens, here!

Rock of Ages is a musical movie of bad '80's music. Who really wants to see Tom Cruise acting like he is a rock star, really singing bad '80's songs? Who really wants to see Tom Cruise do anything but run around looking like the rock star of action adventure movies? Cruise isn't meant to stand in front of an audience singing anything. It's not his genre. It looks fake! He looks idiotic. When i saw the ads, I couldn' t help but laugh, because 48 year old Tom Cruise looks ridiculous posing as a rock star called Jaxx---a long haired rock star from the 1980's.

This is a movie I will definitely rent to watch, but not shell out major bucks to buy or watch in a pricey theater where popcorn goes for more money than they spent on Cruise's rock star makeup!!

Madonna desperately seeking attention by Kate Johns

How much attention does Madonna need? Recently while on her latest, biggest tour Madonna exposed her breast on stage---in public, in Istanbul. I thought it was a desperate plea from an older woman who desperately is seeking attention.

Nope, Madonna was not seeking Susan, as in her 1980's movie, "Desperately Seeking Susan", where Madonna was typecast in  a movie as a selfish, low life, homeless, vagabond. When a wealthy woman of 54 pulls down her attachable bra on stage in front of thousands, that says "I am desperate for attention!"  Besides, if a regular woman of 54 walked down, let's say an average suburban  street exposing one ultra white, super small breast, people would either think she's crazy, ignore her or call 911!

What it really comes down to is Madonna conceived an idea, or someone else thought of an idea to grab attention for Madonna's recent tour. Madonna---being the egocentric, millionaire that she is, probably figured she needed to top all those young singing sensations like Nicky Minaj, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga. I'm quite certain Madonna and her dresser or promotions person brainstormed ideas of how can we get more attention in two seconds than singer M. I. A. did at the Superbowl? During Madonna's performance---no less, extending her middle finger gaining major free publicity.

Madonna did the next best thing she had a bra made with detachable bra material. So, she exposed her breast on stage in Istanbul? So, when you really come down to it, who cares?
Does Madonna's act of sheer selfishness make her a better performer? Does this mean the next female, or male star singer will have to do something even more startling to gain worldwide attention?
Does this mean Madonna will make more money from her display of nipple? From what I saw, it was all pixelized out, and I for one could not see much, except ultra white skin glimmering off a much too white star, who looks like she needs to eat a sandwich.
Yes, an ageing Madonna is desperately seeking attention, by performing her nipple-breast exposing performance.Catty as it sounds, looks like Madonna doesn't have very much in the breast department to show off in the first place! Actress Lucy Liu  may seem like she leads a boring life, compared to other actors who are caught in the excessive lifestyle of partying till dawn. But her acting skills and roles are anything but boring.

Lucy Liu's biography includes an array of acting roles and acting skills many actors do not have. What also is interesting is that Lucy is in her forties now, but certainly doesn't look it.

Lucy Liu was born on Dec. 2, 1968, in Queens, New York, to Chinese parents, who named her Lucy Alexis Liu.

Her mother, Bebe Buell, was a rock groupie at the time, and her father, Steven Tyler, was the lead singer for rock band Aerosmith.

But if I said, "Jim Parsons is so funny." Chances are you wouldn't know who I was talking about, because Parsons has made Sheldon seem like he is a real person who just happens to be a genius, who is so geeky he never learned any social skills.

Jim Parsons was born on March 24, 1973, and was raised in Houston, Texas. He is the older of two kids, and is an unbelievable 41 years old. Just looking at Parsons, you would think he is in his late 20's or early 30's like his TV character, but you'd be wrong!

After graduating from high school in 1991, he earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in theater. During college, and after, Parsons appeared in 17 plays, but never got that big break he so desired.
Not giving up, he enrolled in 1999, in graduate school at the University of San Diego.
From there, he went to New York City and starred in several off Broadway productions. He starred in a Quiznos commercial as the controversial man raised by wolves.

He had a recurring role in the TV show, "Judging Amy," but did not acquire a regular acting gig until much later when he auditioned for Dr. Sheldon Cooper for The Big Bang Theory.

The show's creator, Chuck Lorre, was stunned by Parson's performance, and asked him to audition a second time to see if he could recreate the oddities that make Sheldon seem like he is the real geeky, super smart, intensely weird, selfish, socially inept Sheldon that we all love.
Five years later Sheldon is alive and well on The Big Bang Theory, as is Jim Parsons the comic genius who has won several awards for his genuinely hilarious portrayal of Sheldon.
In 2011 Parsons won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series.

Did Miley Cyrus get engaged as a publicity stunt? In June of 2012, Miley Cyrus became engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth. Liam gave Miley a 3.5  carat ring. The pair has been seeing each other since 2009, when he co-starred in her movie, "The Last Song."He is from Australia, came to America in 2009 and was dropped or passed over for several movie productions until scoring his first big movie role with Miley.

 What gets me thinking this is just a publicity stunt for the couple are these facts:

1. Miley Cyrus has not been heard from, that I know of, since she walked away from her Hannah Montana Disney TV show.
2. It's great publicity for both stars in this case---Miley is making a new album, and Liam is making several movies.
3. Marriage doesn't last long for Hollywood types.written by Kate Johns
4. Miley is only 19, he is 22---kind of young to get married.
5. Miley needs the publicity, because nothing major has happened for the young millionaire for several years.
6. Past history has me thinking this is just a publicity stunt---like when Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries got engaged complete with a 20.5 carat ring, and a 72 day long wedding.
7. Call me cyncial, but it's the way I feel about this.

In 1960  the pair met on the same train and started talking about music. Soon after, they formed a band, calling it The Rolling Stones. Seems Miley Cyrus has completely lost her mind, marbles, any sense of taste, decorum, whatever you want to call  it. She is desperately seeking attention by dressing all slutty.
Recently Miley Cyrus appeared at the Billboard Awards without any pants on. She was wearing a long white jacket, revealing plenty of cleavage. But she had no pants on. Simply put---this no pants look, looked so very wrong on Miley on so many levels. She is only 19. She is not a 45 year old actress, who has the body of Pamela Anderson. Miley is too young, and too skinny to pull this look off.

She basically looked slutty, not smart and sensible. Miley also looked like she was trying to get attention any way she could. Her hair was hacked off, making her look wat too old for her age.

I completely understand Miley is trying to move away from her more innocent child star image. But, give me a break! Does that mean she has to appear naked in public to grab attention? She is already a millionaire many times over. She was at one time adored by young children and had millions of pre-teens buying her line of clothing, accessories, lunch boxes, pillows, etc. But, if Miley wants to show how grown up she is, it is time to put down the crack pipe, and get real!
Miley needs to move forward in a more mature manner by making movies for young adults, not for 40 year old housewives. She needs to sing songs meant for an older audience.
Really when you think about it, when she quit her show, it seemed that Disney wanted to keep her show going until the end of time. Maybe Miley was bored beyond belief doing the show, but she should have stuck with it for a few more years, as her core audience grew older along with her.

Queen of Disco, Donna Summer dies of cancer by Kate Johns

The Queen of Disco died on May 17, 2012, when Donna Summer, succumbed to a battle with cancer. Summer died at her Key West Florida home, after waging a private battle with lung cancer. As of this writing different sources are telling different stories, such as Donna Summer had lung cancer, she had an unknown cancer and another source also stated that summer herself said she contracted lung cancer after breathing in the heavily polluted air right after 911 occurred, in New York City.

At this point, all we really do know is that Summer and her family wanted to keep her battle with cancer quiet so that she could live out her remaining days in peace, not being bothered by the media. We really do not know exactly what kind of cancer it was, and if she had battled it for a long time.

Donna Summer was 63 when she died, having been born on December 31, 1948. Her real name was La Donna Adrian Gaines, creating the name Donna Summer for herself later on when she started her music career. Summer sang backup for other bands, including Three Dog Night and in 1975 wrote the sultry song herself, "Love to Love You Baby" which became her first top ten hit. Love to love You Baby was released as a single, striking number two on the Billboard charts in 1976. Love to Love You Baby also was released as a 17 minute long single, which gained major popularity in discos across the world in the 1970's.

Summer had 11 top ten hits altogether, winning five Grammy Awards. Donna Summer was still performing her hit disco songs into the 2,000's, which included; "I Feel Love" "She Works Hard For The Money" and "Bad Girls." The big news is that Jennifer Lopez may be leaving American Idol. Sources close to A. I. say they adore her. Me personally I could care less, but I also am seriously jealous that she makes millions to sit there saying; "Oh Sweetie, I'm so sorry." If you paid me 20 million dollars to sit there looking all awesome, with beautiful see through clothing on, I'd say anything you wanted me to.

This is another what came first the chicken or the egg moment.Why? Because Jennifer Lopez says she is just too busy to do American Idol next year. What I'm seeing is she is turning her back on the highly rated TV show that helped relaunch her career.

Here is the explanation:

Before J. Lo appeared on A.I. her career was lagging. Now that she has been on A. I. for two seasons she has made 65 million dollars in one year. According to Forbes magazine's most powerful celebrity list, Jennifer Lopez gained the top earning spot with her mega millions.

J. Lo will be turning her back on A. I. , when American Idol helped her breathe life back into her lackluster career. She was not slated for any new movies, records, colognes, or anything that we know of until she started on American Idol. Appearing on A. I. she has been given a new chance at high earnings, (First year with A. I. she was paid 12 million, second year 20 million) because American Idol has been promoting the show like crazy and her marketing team has obviously been working with A. I. to promote J. Lo.
She is appearing in a new movie called, "What to Expect When You're Expecting."
J. Lo has a new record out and will be touring and promoting it this summer and this fall. She has yet another new cologne out, a new clothing line with Kohl's and has been appearing in car ads, shown on American Idol. Is it just me or what? I've been sort of following celebrities and their doings, goings on , but I am not  a hardcore fanatic, that started a fan page/blog about just one celebrity such as Kim Kardashian or whoever. I don't subscribe to ten celeb magazines; pouring over what new thing they did. In other words, I really could care less, but due to my nosy nature, I have to know what is going on. Here's where we get to the is it just me part----did anyone else think this relationship was not going to last? Does anyone else think that Linda Hogan looks like she is about 60, and not the 52 we have been told? And also did anyone think Linda was just using Charley Hill to get back at Hulk Hogan?(Her former wrestling -star husband, who had their own reality TV show called, "Hogan Knows Best.")

I really thought she was about 60. That's why when I heard about this relationship between Linda Hogan and her super young boyfriend, I was truly grossed out, that a woman of sixty was dating a man/ young adult of 23. I was also seriously grossed out, after finding out that Hulk Hogan was having an affair with his daughter's friend, who looked just like his daughter, Brooke.

Ellen DeGeneres is a superstar in her own right, doing it her way just like Frank Sinatra sang in his song, "I did it my way." many years ago. Ellen is a strong person, with a strong but very likeable personality, who has worked hard to become a superstar millionaire celebrity.

Ellen DeGeneres was born on January 26, 1958 in Metairia, Lousiana. After graduating from high school in 1976, Ellen went to college for one year for communications. She dropped out to find herself working menial jobs of secretary and as a salesclerk at J. C. Penny's. Soon she started performing stand up comedy at numerous comedy clubs earning her chops, and developing her signature style; laid back, noticing the little things in life, and making them funny.

Dick Clark was a true icon of  the 20th Century!

Dick Clark was a truly classic, stylish, famous millionaire celebrity. He was not the type of guy that you would see hawking a new book, or trashing other celebrities. Dick Clark had class. Dick Clark was the man.
That's they way I will always remember Dick Clark as a truly classic, stylish kind of guy who had great spirit and determination.

Dick Clark, was called, "America's oldest teenager", because he was the host of American Bandstand for thirty years, and he looked the same age for many years. That is until he had a stroke in December of 2004. At first Clark wanted everyone to think he only had a mild stroke, but it became apparent  after Clark could not appear on his Rocking New Year's Eve show that same year, that he did not have a mild stoke. Clark admitted later on that he had to learn how to do the simplest things again, like walking, talking, and doing what everyone else takes for granted everyday.

I remember watching Dick Clark's American Bandstand show when I was an impressionable young teenager. But once college started and MTV came along, I was too busy and engrossed with life to watch it anymore. I loved watching American Bandstand. The show served as awesome glimpse into the pop music of that era.
It was fun to watch the show with America's oldest teenager interviewing Madonna, Michael Jackson, Rick James, and many other notable hit making stars from the 1960's,70's and the 1980's. Dick Clark seemed very comfortable talking to pop stars of the day, asking them various questions like asking Madonna what she wanted to do with her life. Her answer was something of a shock as she stated, "I want to rule the world."
I loved watching American Bandstand when Dick Clark would interview teens and young adults asking them to rate songs and give a short review of them. The answers were awesome when kids answered with, "I give it an eight Dick, because it had a good beat, and I could dance to it."
I watched American Bandstand faithfully every Saturday until I grew up, becoming too old to sit and watch the show. You know that job thing got in the way, I guess.

When Dick Clark announced on his New Year's Eve Rocking show that he had a stroke I was grossed out. I said things like, "How could he go on TV like that?" But after having a stroke in 2009, I  realized how incredibly brave he was to do that and what a truly great man Dick Clark was. He didn't seem to care if he was gorgeous enough to go on TV, he just did it.

I discovered this bit of sick, gross, perverted, twisted information the other day; that Whitney Houston's daughter is sleeping with her brother. Sleeping with, having sex with, as in Facebook status: in a relationship. But Hello she is doing the nasty with her brother.
Can you say----Gross, with a capital G?  How about disgusting, vomit-inducing?Whitney Houston is rolling over in her grave with this one. 

TMZ reported pictures of Bobbi Kristina in a public showy embrace of intimacy with her "adopted brother", Nick Gordon. Usually I don't stoop to super low levels of gossip. But this one I had to report on. It was just too juicy ,and gross to gloss over. At least I didn't say anything, or show pictures of Kim Kardashian doing what she does best----taking her clothes off for publicity!

Call me catty, but Hello, Bobbie Kristina Brown stands to inherit 10 million dollars and all of Whitney's material possessions, including her clothing, her house, jewelry, everything. Nick, the man  behind the scenes, did not inherit anything monetary, except Bobbi's heart.

Whitney Houston took in Nick when he was 12 years old after his father went to prison,and his mother could not care for him.

Bobbi and her brother are living alone in Whitney's home, and are now reportedly engaged, even though they are step brother and step sister. Sure, it might be that they are not real brother and sister---they are not related by blood, but they still are obviously in love, or in lust, and she is vulnerable. Andrew Breitbart dead at 43; by Kate Johns

Andrew Breitbart, Conservative voice for the masses, was pronounced dead shortly after midnight Thursday March 1, 2012. Breitbart was a man who spearheaded journalism that no other media would relay to the masses. He was an outspoken man who was not afraid to speak his mind, finding major dirt on news stories, political figures,(Anthony Weiner), and celebrities that other media was too timid to report on.
Breitbart who was born in 1969, was only 43 years old when he died, started his quirky, but groundbreaking style of journalism starting his Breitbart website several years ago, moving into center stage with Breitbart TV, and several other websites. He will be missed, because he loved what he was doing, and he had an enthusiastic style all his own.

News of his demise can be found on nearly every news source. This is what his family said on his main website, Breitbart.com:

Did Jennifer Lopez have a wardrobe malfunction at the Oscars? by Kate Johns

What's everybody talking about this morning? The Oscar's that's what! When Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez walked out onto the massive stage, they both were looking Curvalicious in their stunningly beautiful white dresses. But, did you notice that Jennifer Lopez's dress was showing a bit too much of her curves?

She had some nipple showing. It was there in plain view. Hello----Jennifer Lopez had a major wardrobe malfunction in front of millions of people.

Her dress was absolutely beautiful! Jennifer and Cameron looked gorgeous in their long, shimmering white Academy Award gowns, but Jennifer was going for shock value once again. Her long beautiful, white dress was stunning, yes. Her breasts were in full view, as her white dress formed a V in front. But the V  slid over just a little too much. My husband and I looked shocked at each other, as my husband yelled, "Wardrobe malfunction!"
He then held his hand up, and tried to move her dress over a smidgen so that Jennifer's nipple was not showing.

Was this an intentional play on J. Lo's part to gain more attention?
Most probably. Jennifer may be a millionaire many times over, but she still wants to shine in the glow of light cast upon her.
She wanted everyone to look at her,even if if that meant showing more cleavage the stunning Cameron Diaz was. Jennifer may be in her 40's, but she's still got it going on.
So, why not slip some nipple in there, to get that attention, thus selling more CD's, cologne, clothing, and gain more worldwide recognition? Besides, Jennifer's looking for husband number four, isn't she?

Thoughts on Whitney Houston's Death by Kate Johns

Every day millions of people die, and many millions are born. Children are starving, nations are fighting, civil unrest is running rampant in many countries across the globe. So, why are we as regular, non-celebrity millionaires so interested, and shedding so many tears over another drug abusing celebrity's death?
We are mourning the loss of 48-year-old Whitney Houston's death. Okay, some people aren't, they aren't, because we regular people feel like we are a part of Whitney's life.
How is that possible, that perhaps a billion people across the world felt they were a part of Whitney Houston's life? None of us lived with Whitney. None of us ever talked to her, met her or saw her in person, except perhaps on stage.
But somehow, someway we felt compelled to be a part of her life.

Well let's see why we regular folks feel like we are a part of her life. Whitney Houston sold in excess of 170 million albums and Cds. in 20 years. Millions of people listened, danced, fell in love, got married, partied, had fun, while listening to Whitney Houston. Millions of people grew up listening to her music. Still millions more grew into young adults, and matured listening to Whitney sing, "I
Wanna Dance with Somebody." My husband and I  played her songs at many weddings we disc jockeyed at. We danced to several of her songs at our wedding.We had a great time dancing to her pop dance songs and slower, soulful, more tender songs at weddings, and parties.

We as a world witnessed Whitney go from glamorous, beautiful songstress, to a drug addled mess during the late nineties and early two thousands. We essentially saw the fall of someone who had come from a non-Hollywood background. She transcended the barrier between black and white. Whitney sang so beautifully, you couldn't help but stop and listen to her songs. You wondered how she produced that radiant, strong sound from her small, lean body.We did the unthinkable. We fell in love with a superstar. We adored her every elegant move. We listened to her dramatic, glorious voice carry every note to a beautiful crescendo.

Then we watched as that same superstar fell from grace. The girl with the amazingly beautiful voice, married bad boy Bobby Brown.Whitney was caught in a trap, she couldn't get out of. Her once lustrous, powerful voice sounded rough, hoarse, coarse, and it looked as though her career was over.
We watched with shock and horror as yet another millionaire superstar sank into a life gone wrong. We saw it happen many other times with Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Marilyn Monroe who died from their excessive lifestyles.

But why do we regular people feel we are a part of superstar's life? The main reason we do is because when a superstar becomes a superstar, her or his lifestyle becomes part of our lives. News stations, media, magazines, the Internet with websites and blogs suddenly cover every possible angle of this celebrity's life. Paparazzi follow celebrities everywhere, stalking them by taking pictures of the person until they feel violated. They have to hire bodyguards, and be happy 24-7 even though they are not. The media follows a  huge celebrity around because they can  make money selling the pictures of major celebrities. Photographers, reporters and bloggers stand to make money by following celebrities every waking move.

We read about their problems, and their wealthy lifestyles that we can only dream of.

Why are we so interested in celebrities lives? by Kate Johns

We are bombarded with celebrity news every day. And in reality it is not news at all. Entertainment  Tonight was the first American TV show that covered what happened in celebrities lives before any other TV show appeared on the scene. Now today there are numerous TV shows, showcasing celebrities and all that they do, wear, talk about, how they act, how they look and where they went on vacation. And why do we care?

Well after thinking about this major life threatening dilemma for two minutes, one reason we are so interested in celebrities lives is because there are so many reality TV shows, celebrity shows, news stations, magazines, newspapers, blogs and websites basically throwing celebrity non-news into our faces every waking moment of our lives. Do we really need to know that Kim Kardashian changed her hairstyle? And that she did so, while wearing a red bra, and Tweeted the pictures of her large breasts on Twitter for the world to see.

Another fact of life is that we have so many social networking sites today, that anything a celebrity does can infatuate us into following their every movement. I thought following people was at one time called stalking?

We are so interested in celebrities lives because celebrities are living very public lives today. They are everywhere, and there are so many of them. There aren't just 25 major stars anymore like there were in the 1940's and 1950's, there are literally thousands. And with the advent of popular reality TV shows, people who were never meant to be stars, such as Snooki, are followed and mimicked by younger and older female fans.

We are so interested in celebrities lives because we either openly or secretly want to be pampered millionaires who live lives of excess and beauty. Who wouldn't want to have someone do all of that dull housework for them? Who wouldn't want to vacation in warm, sunny locales , partying the night as well as the day away? It sure beats working for a living, slaving away at a boring job where you make a certain amount an hour, a day or a year. Almost everyone wants to have a better life.

Celebrities we love to hate.
After seeing some major celebrities having public meltdowns, or acting like stupid fools in public I thought "I really strongly dislike that woman."
It's strange how you can hate a celebrity so much you feel the need to start a Facebook page about her or him that is not exactly a fan Facebook page.

Ten celebrities we love to hate:

1. Topping celebrities we love to hate has to be Madonna. Madonna is so wealthy she could buy a small country.  But in reality she is so cheap she will not help her homeless brother, or pay for her relatives airfare to come visit her in England. I read her brother Christopher's biography about her, and he dished on what Madonna is really like.

2.Supermodel Gisele Bunchden, aka Mrs. Brady makes more money than her husband by modeling and personally I'd like to know why. She is not pretty, has no major curves. In fact Gisele is rather skinny, and recently she begged for all of Tom Brady's friends and relatives to pray and send good thoughts so he wins the Super bowl, because he needs this win.

3.Love him or hate him, Steven Tyler is here to stay. Since joining the cast of American Idol, Steven Tyler has been everywhere. We adored Aerosmith in the 1970's, but Steven's constant quips about women and bad singing vibes, are too much to handle. I liked Steven better when we saw and heard less from the master front man.

4.Miley Cyrus always struck me as being just a bit too obnoxious for her own good. When she starred in Disney's Hannah Montana I had to leave the room, to get away from her nasal voice. Doesn't it bother anyone that she really can not sing?

5.Naomi Campbell has been modeling for years and she has been beating up her staff of hired helpers for nearly as long. Naomi Supermodel  Campbell was born in 1970, is beautiful outside, but not inside, and is a celebrity that definitely belongs on this celebrities we love to hate list.

6. Would a celebrities we love to hate list be complete if Simon Cowell were not on it? Simon Cowell says what he feels, and feels what he says, and that is what a judge of talent is supposed to do. Many millions of people strongly dislike Simon Cowell. But if that's the case, then why do we watch American Idol?

7. Here's one that might surprise you----Conan O' Brien. I have watched his talk show and found him to be lacking in funny jokes. He just seemed obnoxious, like a little kid, making little kid fart jokes, in a big ugly guy's body. That's why I put him on my celebrities we love to hate list.

8. Demi Moore has made my celebrities we love to hate list because she married a guy 25 years younger than herself, she does drugs and is trying desperately to still look and act young. You're almost 50 Demi, it's time to act your age. Besides the woman admitted on David Letterman's talk show that she uses leaches on her skin to purify her blood. Crazy celebrity alert!!!

9. Is it just me or does Hugh Hefner creep you out? Doesn't anyone think it is gross, creepy, weird  that a man who is about 80 is sleeping with big breasted blondes so that they can become playmates of the year? Yuckkkk!

10. Chelsea Handler. When she first arrived on TV, she was funny. Not anymore. Her routine has become ultra dull. Besides the comedians that appear on her show are funnier than her. Who gave Chelsea Handler this show and why is she a millionaire?

There are more celebrities we love to hate, admit it, but this is only a top ten list. Maybe I'll create another celebrities we love to hate list in a few months including Kate Moss, Ashton Kutcher, and Bob Geldorf. Is it true that Morgan Freeman will marry his step granddaughter? by Kate Johns

The other day while I was perusing Facebook, I caught an eye catching title of, "Morgan Freeman will marry his step granddaughter." At first I was shocked and horrified that a 74 year old man will even consider marrying someone almost fifty years his junior.
I read the story, which I believe was written on Yahoo Shine. After writing on my friend's Facebook comment section of this story, "Yuck, Gross, and Disgusting," I started looking around the Internet. What I found was that not one single other source, website or blog had any information about acclaimed actor Morgan Freeman marrying his step granddaughter.

I have to say, after reading that story, which was short on any real information, I was all set to run with the story and spread it around the Internet virtually ruining Morgan Freeman's valued reputation.
After looking at ten different websites, including Wikipedia, I have not found any information to go with this step granddaughter story. Morgan Freeman has been married and divorced twice though, and he has starred in many movies.
It was obviously written at least two years ago, because it had Morgan Freeman's age at 72, and his step granddaughter's age at 27. Freeman was born in June of 1937, making him 74 , not 72.

So what I am telling you is that you can't believe everything you read. And you certainly can't believe everything you read on the Internet. With the bogus story coming out saying that rocker Jon Bon Jovi was dead right before Christmas 2011, I'm thinking this is yet another hoax.  scam or spam desperate people are sending around the Internet to drive traffic to their poorly written websites or blogs.

So, as far as I know Morgan Freeman will not marry his step granddaughter, nor has Jon Bon Jovi died. By the way Cher is still alive and doing well, and Paula Abdul will not be back on the X-Factor next season. Ashton Kutcher off partying in Brazil while Demi Moore suffering by Kate Johns

I've got to say something here. After writing my last post concerning Demi Moore's impending divorce from 34 year old Ashton Kutcher, I discovered new information surrounding her case.
What I discovered was troubling to say the least. Seems that no one close to Demi Moore is helping her get through her divorce from Ashton Kutcher.
As soon as Kutcher discovered his new found freedom he jetsetted off to Brazil, finding himself in the spotlight at a Brazilian fashion show, and getting his picture taken while partying, and celebrating in  the streets of Brazil.

What a contrast that is, while Demi Moore is in California literally falling apart. She was whisked off to  a California hospital while Ashton was off partying. Someone in her house had called 911, when they found Demi having convulsions.
Her oldest daughter, Rumor was seen at the SAG Awards, and then at a party after the SAGS with a friend. Rumor made an appearance and left.
Even I'm feeling sorry for Demi at this point in time. And I'm the one saying she deserved what she got, because she married Ashton, the good looking  Punk'd STAR in the first place.

It has been reported that neither Ashton , or former husband, Bruce Willis have not been seen visiting Demi in her time of need. Demi is in the middle of a divorce, and is obviously having problems coping if she is doing drugs and losing a lot of weight. It's time these self centered stars come to her emotional rescue, and at least stop in for a visit.
Why aren't Demi's three daughters helping her? Why have we not seen Ashton going to visit his soon to be ex-wife? How selfish can a person possibly be not to visit someone who obviously is having problems coping with this divorce situation?

You mean to tell me that Ashton doesn't realize how much good publicity he can get from visiting Demi at rehab? It looks like we regular non-star types are watching a really bad soap opera. It looks like Ashton needs to grow up and do something to help his soon to be ex-wife.

Aquarians are the most out going, fun loving people you will ever meet. Most people who are born under the sign of Aquarius are social people who love to be the center of attention. That's why many Aquarians become famous celebrity types. Written by Kate johns, who is also an Aquarian.

3. Famous first husband of Cher, Sonny Bono, was born in 1935, and died in a skiing accident in 1998.
4. Buffalo born wild man Rick James, was born in 1948 and died of a heart attack in 2004.
5. John Travolta has led an illustrious acting career spanning four decades. This millionaire actor got his start as Vinnie, on the TV show, "Welcome Back Kotter". Travolta owns several planes and knows how to pilot them.
6.Guitar player extraordinaire, Eddie Van Halen was born in 1955, and is still alive today. While married to Valerie Bertinelli, Eddie Van Halen was known for major guitar riffs and  played guitar in the closet so he would not wake up his bride.
7.Christie Brinkley won lucrative modeling contracts with her winning smile, and beautifully coiffed hair in the 1980's, and still is modeling today. She was born in 1954, and Christie Brinkley was married to singer Billy Joel.
8.Sheryl Crow started her singing career as a backup singer for Michael Jackson becoming famous on her own merits. Sheryl Crow was born in 1962.
9. Famous restaurateur, Howard Johnson became a millionaire by expanding his once sought after restaurant fare many years ago. He was born in 1897, and died in 1972.
10.This famous Aquarius was born in 1962. Country crooner, Garth Brooks, had many country hits in the 1990's and is currently married to Trisha Yearwood.
11.Singer songwriter, and seemingly always bald drummer, Phil Collins was born in 1951, started out with supergroup Genesis, and became a monster hit making machine on his own in the 1980's.
12.Guess who else was a famous Aquarian? Not sure if Thomas Edison was a millionaire in his time, but he was one of the famous inventor's of electricity, and helped Alexander Bell invent the telephone. He was born in 1847 and died in 1931.
13. Etta James sang the blues throughout her entire life, and recently died. Etta James was born in 1938, dying in 2012.
14. Famous Aquarian, hotel heiress, and very social socialite, Paris Hilton was born in 1981,and is famous for being famous. Paris Hilton has made millions of dollars from her books, one written by her dog, and from her cologne, and movie roles.
15. Rapper, actor, Ice-T, was born in 1960, and is currently enjoying his stint , since 2000 as a cop on the TV show,"Law and Order", after writing a song called "Cop Killer. "
16. Another famous Aquarian , actress Diane Lane, was born in 1965.
17. Shakira was born in 1977, and has had a string of sultry pop hits. currently you can gaze upon Shakira's beauty on the hit TV show, "The Voice."

19.Ellen De Generes who just celebrated her 54 birthday, (you do the math), is a famous talk show host/comedienne, who brings a little fun to our ho-hum lives.

21. Bobby Brown is a famous Aquarian, who is currently more well known for his famous bad boy antics than for his famous hit. "It's My Prerogative."
22.Famous songstress, Natalie Cole, and daughter of the famously talented singer, Nat King Cole, was born into this world in 1950 as an Aquarian.
23.Song writer extraordinaire, Neil Diamond has written hit making songs for so many years, we just keep expecting him to crank out the hits. Neil Diamond was born in 1941, and even wrote songs for the hit 1960's TV show, "The Monkees."
24. Michael Hutchence was born in January of 1960. Hutchence took his life in a weird way back in 1997, by hanging himself at the Ritz Carlton in Australia. Michael Hutchence was the lead singer for the Aussie band---INXS.
25.Last but not least on my famous Aquarians list is Ashton Kutcher. Lately Ashton is more famous for his marriage breakup with Demi Moore than for his acting abilities. He's currently making millions upon millions to star in the Tv show, "Two and a Half Men." Ashton Kutcher was born in 1978. The real reason behind Demi Moore getting super skinny by Kate Johns

Everybody already knows the news that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are getting a divorce. And now we see Demi being photographed, suddenly showing up at every awards whatever that she has not been seen at for the six or was that seven years she spent with Ashton.
Entertainment people, journalists, bloggers, are saying Demi appears to have lost quite a bit of weight and has been taken to the hospital this week. Supposed friends are speculating that Demi is doing drugs, or she is so depressed that Ashton left her.

Give me a break! Didn't Demi kick Ashton out of her martial bed in the first place?
I always thought Ashton was a bit of an A-hole anyways, so why did she marry him in the first place?

My big question, is why don't big time celebrities stay home, watch tons of TV and get really fat when they get divorced?
Of course a big name star who has made huge hit making movies will not stay home crying on the phone to her mom. No she will work out a lot trying to improve herself, and see and be seen anywhere she can. Big name celebs want to work. Demi wants the attention.

My opinion is cynical, but here it is:

Demi wants everyone to feel sorry for her so that she gets the best divorce deal possible with Ashton getting as little of her money as possible. Therefore she shows up all over the place getting her picture taken looking upset, distraught, miserable, and suddenly being super skinny. Demi wants us to feel sorry for her.
Celebrities become celebrities because they want the attention we give them.
Before Demi Moore made it big demanding 20 million dollars per movie, she was out partying the night away with up and coming big stars. The list is endless; Madonna, Bruce Willis, (former hubby), Madonna's brother, Kate Moss, Johnny Depp. You may remember that Demi Moore was part of the Brat pack back in the late 1980's, where she was seen out at many bars and clubs partying the night away with the other young rat packers.

It's a sad reality when anyone gets divorced; it's like a death has occurred. But I am certain Demi Moore, Heidi Klum and other major celebrities will be just fine with their new life adventures. Just about every well known star is getting divorced lately. This is great news for divorce lawyers, but not great news for marriage, and for celebrities in general.
Recently announced is the divorce of supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Seal. They have been married for seven years, and they have had three children together. Their oldest child, Heidi had with a businessman who refused to marry her. Hey, maybe he knew something Seal didn't know.

Sad to say, this is yet another in a series of celebrity marriages gone awry. It makes you think, "Do any celebrities marry for life, or do they marry for the publicity?"
With recent celebrity marriages gone the way of the wind, such as Katy Perry, and Russell Brand, you begin to wonder if it is worth getting married?
Real people who get married, can't afford to get divorced, and usually work out their differences, not casting aside their relationship because one person sees the other as being selfish, or she snores too loudly.
Just recently, divorce rumours were circling around Seal and Klum, but Seal nipped them in the bud saying the celebrity couple was happy and still in love, and he even said, he was so happy he had a hard time writing songs lately, because he had nothing sad to write about.

Guess that all changed!

Ten Celebrities born in Buffalo, New York by Kate Johns

After perusing about ten websites, I discovered that only the most well known celebrities that are already dead, have been placed on a list of celebrities having been born in Buffalo, New York.

The lists were very much the same, looking like the website writers and bloggers were copying each other's information. I created a better top ten celebrities born in Buffalo, New York list:

1.Lucille Ball, was born in 1911, in Jamestown , New York. She became a famous actress, having her own TV show. "I Love Lucy."Ball  became famous for her comedy routines, acting abilities, actually starting her career as a model. She died back in 1989, from an aneurysm.

2. Super freak, Rick James, who became a hit making super freaky machine in the late 1970's and 1980's had a major drug addiction problem and died from a host of health problems in 2,004. He grew up in Buffalo, New York, and died in California, and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.

3.Diane English  was  a writer and creator of the hit TV series, "Murphy Brown."

4. Nancy Marchand, also born in Buffalo, New York, went on to  star in movies, including playing Tony Soprano's mother, in the HBO award winning TV series, "The Sopranos." She died in 2,000.

5. CNN Journalist Wolf Blitzer was born in Buffalo, New York. Wolf went on to make a career out of telling news stories for a living. Blitzer has been giving us the news from the CNN studios, and currently is hosting a CNN show called, The situation Room.

6. Wendie Matlick was born in Buffalo, New York in 1950. Wendie Matlick is one of the four reigning female stars of the hit comedy TV show, "Hot in Cleveland."

7. Johnny Rzeznik was born in 1965, into a Polish family, becoming an orphan by the age of 16. He is the lead singer for the Goo Goo Dolls, who have had hit songs named, "Iris,", "Name," and "Slide".

8. Have to name this guy, when talking about famous people from Buffalo, New York; Robby Takac. Robby was born in 1963, and he is the bass player for The Goo Goo Dolls. Robby does not act like a star, currently residing in South Buffalo.

9. Christine Baranski is also an actress, who has shown great promise in her roles. She starred as Cybil Shepard's best friend, in "Cybil", and as the Grinch's girlfriend, in the classic cartoon redone as a movie, "The Grinch." You may have noticed she plays a great dysfunctional mom on the Big Bang Theory!

10. Amanda Blake was born in Buffalo New York in 1929. Blake was best known for her starring role in the hit TV series, "Gunsmoke, " as Miss Kitty. Blake died in 1989 from AIDS-related complications.
