Black Eyed Peas female singer; Fergie, or Stacey Ann Ferguson, Written by Kate Johns

Fergie is more than just eye candy for the Black Eyed Peas. She is a talented star, whose light shines so brightly, you can feel her glow cast onto all in her path.
The Black Eyed Peas only female singer, Stacey Ann Ferguson was born on March 27, 1975 in California. Fergie has become a major force to reckon with becoming an award winning singer, a talented actress and  a sexy dancer. Fergie is very much like Jennifer Lopez, because she is a beautiful multi talented woman, but she is younger, and has only been married once.

In 2001, Fergie developed a major drug problem. She became addicted to methamphetamine, dropping to a scrawny 90 pounds. When she realized what a mess she had become, she dropped meth like the bad habit it was, and did it without help, as in cold turkey.

Also in 2001, Fergie asked Black Eyed Peas band hit maker will.i.am to work on her solo album. Instead he asked her to sing on a Black Eyed Peas record, becoming the only female member of the Black Eyed Peas, and also scoring huge with the dance crowd.
In 2003, BEP released "Elephunk," with "Let's Get It Started," which shot the record into the stratosphere, becoming three times platinum.
With her professional life doing extremely well, Fergie met her future husband, Josh Duhamel, on his TV show, " Las Vegas." They became a big item the next year, as Fergie's hit making success climbed even higher.

In 2005, the next BEP album, "Monkey Business", sold over four million copies, and scored four Grammy nominations, with Fergie singing the sexy hit, "My Humps."
2006, was a HUGE year for Fergie as she released her first solo album, "The Duchess," with chart busting hits, "London Bridge, " and "Fergilicious." Selling 2.4 million copies, The Duchess went straight to number one on the pop charts. Also in 2006, Stacey Ann Ferguson starred as a hitchhiker in the gory movie, "Grindhouse."

In 2008 Fergie starred in the theatrical movie, "Nine." In 2009, Stacey Ann Ferguson married Las Vegas TV star Josh Duhamel. The Black Eyed peas scored big at the Grammy's by winning three Grammy awards in 2010.
With all of Fergie's incredible talent, including her strong work ethic, the world is waiting to see what she has in the works for the future on the pop charts, and in movies. Possibly more endorsements from big name clients, another solo record, and maybe even future babies.
